About Us

Aqsa Pharmacy is a long standing independent pharmacy that has been providing continuous help, care and advice to the local community. All of our assistants are certified with accredited training,ensuring that you receive the best possible advice on common health issues. In order to improve our services we greatly value your feedback.

Health Check: Cholesterol, Blood Pressure, Blood Glucose, BMI

We can arrange health screening services including Blood Pressure Checks, Diabetes and Cholesterol testing. These services will enable you to move towards a healthier lifestyle. please speak to a member of staff for details.

Chlamydia Testing

This service is available to all male and females aged 15 to 24 years and offers free, confidential screening and advice on sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Emergency Hormonal Contraception

This service is free and confidential and is aimed at 13-18 year olds. It provides easy access to emergency contraception (morning after pill), safer sex and sexual health advice.

Nursing and Care Home Services

We provide support for patients with disabilities who need help in managing and taking their prescribed medicines. This help may be in the form of labeling medicines with large font for people with impaired vision or we can supply medication in weekly blister packs which aid compliance. All medicines are supplied in child resistant containers unless you ask us not to. This does not mean that they are childproof. Remember to keep all medicines out of reach of children.

Prescription Delivery

We can manage your repeat prescriptions and order them when you need them. You can take advantage of our FREE HOME DELIVERY SERVICE To register, please speak to a member of staff.

Repeat Prescriptions

We are able to manage and dispense your repeat NHS prescriptions. This will give you increased choice and convenience by allowing you to collect your regular repeat prescription medicines directly from a community pharmacy. For more information about Repeat Dispensing, please speak to a member of staff.

Signposting to Other Services

Patients who need further support, advice or treatment, which we are unable to provide, will be referred to other healthcare providers and support organizations where appropriate. This is to ensure that patients receive the care and support they need.
